I am a They Might Be Giants fan, and I don't know who did their website ... but this is one of the coolest uses of Flash I've ever seen.

Best of all, the music DOES come through over the firewall!

And TMBG are playing ONE MILE from my house tonight.

*happy pookah dance ensues*

Are you going?
Was that a stupid question?
my friend says that it's possible you look like the guy from Korn.
Which guy, I don't know, but...

Yep, I went.

No, not a stupid question, since I wasn't even certain tickets were still available. The couple that went with us to Ireland came along as well.

I would suspect your friend means the drummer. Who happens to be named David.

she was actually talking about the guy who was below you on my friends' page, but didn't tell me 'til after I posted that. *shrugs*
That's Darkrose.
was it wonderful?
Yes, david, head, monkee, jon, and fieldy.
I had a friend who was a large fan who made me learn junk about them. All I remember is their names... and what they play. And that head sings lowrider.

He's definitely one up on me in that department.

Wonderful's a good word for that show. Apparently they came through 6 months ago, too, and even briefly talked about not wanting to be accused of doing the same show twice.

I'm not their biggest fan, either. Another Dave in my college dorm showed me their first CD, and I was not too impressed. When the second came out I thought it was much better, IMHO.

I listened to some of their stuff today while I was looking for 'i am the walrus'... derf hadn't heard it, and we took pictures where I'm the eggman and she's the walrus. but the walrus was paul. so.

whistling in the dark. I did it once, randomly. Amusing, exceptionally, for some reason.

We also listened to meatloaf and ramones. Show me the way and I wanna be sedated, respectively.

I called him meatball by accident.

I actually have never listened to much Korn.

Long shot: ever heard savatage: wake of magellan?

I've Often Been Told That You Only Can Do What You Know How To Do Well
Meatball ... heh. I don't think he'd be overly amused, but then he's held a 30+ year grudge against Levi's because of an old commercial they had, though that WAS pretty mean.

Heard Savatage? Yes, from the dude, actually. I remember Hall of the Mountain King, and know I've heard them on the radio (probably on 98 Rock here in Baltimore), but couldn't place anything else. Wake of Magellan doesn't ring any bells.

The "their" in the 3rd paragraph is meant to refer to Korn, now that I realize it's unobvious upon re-reading.

I'm not a huge TMBG fan, but I have a lot of respect for them...

And I think "Flood" is an amazing album... great songs, great memories... always brings a smile to my face =)

Flood is definitely an excellent album. It's quality, catchy, and quirky.

PS: I'm glad I made the cut. =)
