I'm now on the tail-end of the Boston & NYC vacation swing. Lots to say about that, but Monday is our return trip and I'd rather get some shuteye before my last day of playing the tourist. I'll post more about the trip once it's actually done.
The NYC subway system has a lot more trains running than DC, and some of those are on partial schedules. Even so, it is not terribly confusing once you figure out which trains you can really use.
I've been gathering some writing ideas together again, but have been very lax about writing them down. I had a basis for a plot in my head earlier in the week, but I'll need to try and recapture it and the characters I envisioned. I think if I can get just a piece of the story back in my head it should reopen the window into that world again.
