1. I'm not sure I've ever seen you glow like that Super Bowl party this year.
2. I challenge you to listen to just one Depeche Mode CD one time through. I recommend the latest one. (This you CAN complain about, but what kind of challenge would it be if it were easy?)
3. Blue. Those walls ...
4. I like talking with you. Beverages or no, serious or no, we have had some honest-to-God conversations.
5. Clear and early? "I probably shouldn't be swimming right now, I'm really drunk. But it's okay, I couldn't drown if I want to." *flip* "See?"
6. Lynx. Long story. From the occasional gleam in the eyes to the sharp claws, I say lynx.
7. What is it about movie spoilers that got you so addicted to them?
8. "Jesus on the Grill", Willy Porter. Not that I associate you with trucking, but I associate you with Willy.

Dude. Memeage. I'm game.

1. I often wondered how you could keep your hair as long as you have. Especially after things like setting it on fire that one time. After growing mine out, I have a new respect for how you've been able to keep it long and looking good on ya.
2. I challenge you to find a video game, any game, that you and Bryn can play together.
3. Black. All about the jacket.
4. I love swapping tech stories with you. You find the juicy bits and are always involved in and knowledgeable about interesting things, whether it's networking or kernel patches or whatever. You've always been closer to the leading edge of tech than I have.
5. "Welcome to The Kingdom of the Solar Night."
6. Is dragon cheating? =)
7. Who from the modeming days do you miss? There's a couple more obvious names, but there's a LOT of people we've lost track of.
8. Once Hush, half their first album.

Now now, five names won't get you five times the answers =)
1. I think that, more than anyone else I know, you've got an imagination as vivid as mine. Only conjecture so far, but you've made my "coffee list".
2. I challenge you to write a short story by the end of July, using a character you've written about before but showing a completely different side of them.
3. White. Three guesses why, first two don't count.
4. I like your writing. And I don't just mean your fiction. You not only feel deep emotions, your writing style brings that across through your journal. Not everyone can do that.
5. Clearest is our AIM chats about the novel. Followed closely thereafter by talking about the Wheel of Time.
6. A panther. Partly due to Pitt.
7. Tough to choose. Would you like to play a game of Questions? =D
8. Starsailor - "Silence Is Easy"

Me! Me! Me! :)

Re: I love these...
1. Any mention of Skeletor always brings your old computer to mind, and I'm probably stuck with that association for life.
2. I challenge you to bring Nathan and come to dinner one of these times. In trade I'll take suggestions and make something you like.
3. Purple! Absotively posilutely.
4. You've got a great laugh. Make sure it gets plenty of exercise.
5. First memory: "So you're the one responsible for WombatNET. Hi, I'm Lone Wolf, nicetameetcha, though you probably don't know me."
6. Wombat! Too etched in my brain for any other creativity.
7. I always wanted to ask what your favorite karaoke song is ... not necessarily what you sing best, but your favorite one.
8. Depeche Mode - half of Ultra, particularly "Home"

My turn!

I always laugh about this type of stuff. I mean, there is some stuff I proabaly don't really want to know...

Re: Hmmmm
1. I'm still occasionally in awe that you hand-made that chain mail.
2. I challenge you to try rollerblading at some point. I think you'd enjoy it, given decent equipment.
3. Charcoal gray. Why? NINJA!
4. I like your ability to follow me on a trip from zero to zany in 3.5 seconds. Or beat me there. Maybe it's a Dave thing.
5. I think clearest will always be the wedding day, with the shoes. Followed closely thereafter by "Bash on rock!"
6. Hounddog. In a good (but hard to explain) way.
7. Do you mind that I've basically co-opted some of your house projects? I mean I did basically just start assembling desks at your place the one time, and I hope it wasn't rude.
8. "Pretty pretty pain cave", because without you I'd never have figured out where I'd ever heard that one before.

Why do I always do these?
Jun. 10th, 2006 04:39 am (UTC)
Because they're fun
1. You really can mimic voices better than me, and I'm occasionally envious.
2. A challenge? Here's one for ya, come to Otakon in costume. Any costume. Doesn't have to be Hachi. Could be a cactaur. Better not be Sailor Moon.
3. Green, thanks to Kermit
4. I like your ability to story-tell. You emote well and can usually keep to a good length for the story instead of rambling on.
5. If I remember correctly, we were both at the "Union of Evil". *shudder*
6. Badger. Badger badger badger badger badger badger ...
7. We've been to a lot of parties over the years. Which do you think was the best one?
8. Soul Coughing, "Houston" ... the "psy-duck" song. =)

1. I'm still impressed you knew & like John Varley.
2. My challenge for you is to find the area's best storm-enjoyment spot, whatever that may be. I know you'll enjoy trying some places out. Let me know when you find a good one.
3. Does Mandelbrot fractal pattern count?
4. I like that you listen, and I doubt I've said thank you often enough for the times you have when I've really needed to talk.
5. Skirting the obvious, I still clearly remember being in Tennesee and looking out over Knoxville from the parking garage.
6. Whatever shape Kyth happens to be in at the moment. =D
7. We've spoken of tattoos before, but I don't think I've ever asked you if you've ever considered any additional ink. Have you?
8. Afro Celt Sound System & the beats from that Noodle program. That was fun to mess with. Or anything Vangelis.

Oh hell, why not

1. Whenever you get a hyper mood, it's always fun to be there. There's not many people who can keep up with either of our energy when we really get going.
2. I challenge you to YET MORE CRIBBAGE. It must be done. It must.
3. Mottled purple, as in the covers of the old Mage books. I can still close my eyes and visualize your shelf.
4. I like taking long drives with you. Whether it's zoning out with poker dice for hours, chatting as the miles roll by, or just singing along to any number of albums we can pop in the radio.
5. First memory would be the first time I drove by your place on Frederick Ave, when I got completely confused by the whole Frederick Road vs. Avenue thing and nearly got badly lost. Clearest would be singing along to Coldplay on the way back from skiing driving back through the snowstorm.
6. Rat, thanks to the ones you kept. Wish I remembered their names better, but I remember Hades.
7. I think you've generally learned to predict my sense of humor by now. Is there any hope for it or am I doomed to get groaned at for the rest of my life?
8. Just one? We've sung so many songs over the years. If I had to pick one it would be Toad's "High on a Riverbed". I think I remember you said it was your favorite track off of Pale.
