Linguistics

I spent a good part of my day doing something that supposedly couldn't be done. So since I did it, I guess it really can be done. Done right, or done wrong. Woohah. I got them all in check. Hehehe.

My new office is like half mine, and has plenty of brown & green out the window. It's also usually cold, and is right across the street from one of the more glitzy malls in the area and one of the best outdoor concert venues nearby. Columbia, MD. Planned neighborhoods and home of the Rouse Company. VERY corporate, not very commercial, plenty of green space (once spring comes), and land of still high gas prices. Bleah.

The further you get from the mall, the cheaper the gas. Try the Mobil on Cedar and Freetown (if it's on your way). Yesterday they were at $1.15.

Also, there are great Indian and Chinese restaurants in Columbia - about 10 mins from you. The only LL Bean outside of Tysons is pretty cool, too.

The planned neighborhoods *are* creepy, I give you that.

Feel free to pass through and stop by again, neighbor. =) I take all tips on cheaper gas.

As far as Chinese in Columbia goes, PF Chang's is awesome (I LOVE the lettuce boat things) and I know the head chef, my friend's cousin. Not cheap in price, but definitely not cheap in quality.

And the waterfall outside LL Bean is a neat architechtural item. Catches the eye. And ear, for that matter.
