Tada, back from trip. Hurricane Ernesto quieted down as we left the state on Saturday, and it seems the bulk of Hurricane Workweek has also passed by. Believe it or not, reality may reign supreme, and I think I can get a better amount of time to deliver the code I have left to do. I can officially declare the worst of the evil as "past".

So, tonight I celebrate with anime (exact series TBD, though I'm itching to get started with Fate/SN). Yesterday I took a conference call while I was in the car riding north, and a second one started as we pulled into the driveway. This was after sapphireblue and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for her birthday lunch. Our dinners are usually so late that dinner downtown is only rarely an option. My legs hurt like the dickens after all the car-riding and sitting of other varieties, and stupid me opted to vegetate with Playstation while waiting for the rest of the business day to conclude. The eventual nice hot shower did help, but I was on the PS2 later than I should have been.

We did at least watch Project Runway together. Down to 5 now, though I still can't believe that one outfit won. Or that the one kid threw eggs at them as they boarded the boat. That was insane.

You've started me off now!
Jeffrey's outfit was CRAP! And they are just DETERMINED to not like Kayne. I wasn't thrilled with Kayne's dress when I saw it in Paris (didn't hate, but wasn't my favorite either), but I thought it looked stunning on the more filled out American model. Especially once you could see the beautiful skirt when she turned around and walked back up the runway. And how could they say his dress was "tacky and over the top", and turn around and say Jeffrey's, which looks like a blind person with scissors and a tartan tablecloth (and an ugly one at that) just randomly knotted some fabric, and threw it together all lumpy ands clumpy, was so stunning and amazing and wonderful? It's crap.

But at least Vincent went home. That guy was an idiot and should have been gone long ago. It I had to hear him talk about what "got him off" just one more time, I was going to hunt him down and beat him senseless.

I'm actually starting to lose my stomach for it. Lately I've been sitting in the room with everyone else, but usually distracted with plaster and buildings. The first season was very interesting, with some amazing shows of skill and creativity. Through the second season though, it became apparent that interesting garbage was more important than well made and well designed but simple clothing. It seems to have continued in that trend, even more so with Captain Neck-too's rendition of 'derelicte'. But, it gives me time to cast plaster blocks and build stuff, so I can't argue.
