Do I live? Yes. I survived the trip to Indianapolis, and the trip survived me. I met in-laws, college buddies (friends that know me through my wife), and attended a wedding. And after the wedding we went back to the happy couple's house to hang out with the crowd of 20-somes for a night of gaming! The games we played were Jenga, Apples to Apples, Santiago, and Shadows Over Camelot (in which our Round Table lost Excalibur, found the Holy Grail, and finally won by slaying the evil Dragon). Never slept on the same floor twice, though the coughing was bad enough that I got more Robitussin and some cough drops. I managed to stifle the worst of the coughs through the wedding ... thankfully.

So thanks to our hosts (and those who looked after my wife Sunday night). I got home yesterday evening, and boy did the jet lag kick in. I barely got some of the work done that I needed to. I will be SO happy to be done with this flu bug. It is at least continuing its slow fade. I cough less often, but it's nastier.

Anyway, it's Monday, I just found out I'm working from home tomorrow, and later this week I'm headed out of town for Thanksgiving. This is the year of travel, after all.

PS: As I learned at McCool's in the town of Fishers, a sick man at an Irish pub can at least console himself with a very nice bowl of beef vegetable soup.

We were so happy to have you over! Thank you so much for coming to the wedding and to the gaming party afterwards. A good time was had by all, I'd say. And thank you for the tip about McCool's. I'll keep that in mind!
