What a crazy week.

Monday: Found out I'm going to be assembling almost everything for the next release. Saw Glen Phillips in Vienna, VA at Jammin' Java. THANK YOU JILL! (Story later)
Tuesday: Worked from home for a full day for the first time in a while, cleaned bathtub and fixed drain, continued game writing.
Wednesday: Worked late, built half the code, continued game writing.
Thursday: Worked hard, finished game writing and sent it off, went to see MC Chris at The Ottobar in Baltimore. Got my request rapped (MC Chris OWNZ).
Friday: Worked LATE (as in caught the last train). Found out I'll be working the weekend. Found out I'll at least get two days of comp time. Helped co-write proposal.

Which brings me to today: Going in to work, back around dinner time.

With any luck, the role I've been taking on with half of this release has been as much integrator as developer. This may be a step in the right direction. Not that I hate coding, mind you, but it is a potential piece of track record towards a step up, eventually.

PS: I got an MC Chris shirt I know a friend of mine will definitely deem cool. I'd have gotten her one, but apparently I tipped the bartenders too well and the merch guys only took cash. One freaking dollar short. Damn. Damndamndamn.
