Just for the Record ...

I happen to think this was very well written.

I have friends on all sides of the religious fences, and try to avoid being judgemental. I usually avoid discussions of religion and politics because they are two places where logic is most questionable and fervor is most likely, but they are still fascinating despite being potential firekegs. Among my friends, I can count card-carrying pagans, run-of-the-mill Christians, born again pseudomissionaries, several Jews of varying conviction of faith, a Buddhist, and more than a few "he/she is out there but hard to define"'s. This leads to varying perspectives on everything from God and the Bible to ethics and morality.

Where do I fall on the religion spectrum/graph/colorwheel?

I view it like dieting. Nobody has the miracle concoction, the panacea, the mystical equation all worked out. Everyone sees a slightly different face of divinity. Probably partly my own individualistic streak kicking in, but I guess I'm more involved in my own relationship with God to the exclusion of everyone else. I'd explain more, but I feel like I'm getting off topic. Maybe another time.
